# Backlog

The backlog is where you create your future issues, in other words your project's planning. View a scrum's projects backlog using the following navigation links:

* Click the **BACKLOG** button on the board's top bar
* Click the **Backlog** menu item from the left navigation bar

### Create backlog item

In the backlog's view, click the **CREATE ISSUE** top bar button and add an issue. Select an issue type.

### Move backlog items to sprint

When a backlog item is ready for work, you need to add it to an available sprint. Select the items you want to move to a sprint, click the **ACTIONS** menu and select **Move to sprint**. Select the sprint you want to be moved to and click Confirm. The items will be available to the sprint.

If the sprint is **started**, the issues will also be available to the project's board!
